For head lice problem wash your hair with vinegar. It will kill all the nits in two days. Apply coconut oil to your head after shampoo and condition. Add ten to fifteen drops of tea tree oil into shampoo bottle and use it daily. Rub listerine mouth wash on your head. This will kill all the lice. Massage your head with mayonnaise and comb it after 2 hours. This will kill all the lice and their eggs. Apply a mixture of lemon and butter on your head, wait for 15 seconds and then rinse your head.
Yes, you can either go to local pharmacies for lice syampoo treatments OR you can buy those devices to remove them.
Else you can go to clinics/hospitals where they hv those devices to remove them, it shouldn't be too costly.
Shampoo's always good.there's a medicated shampoo available over the counter that's fairly pricey but effective...I would try Dawn dishsoap first though...much much cheaper, and not harmfull in the least (many vets use it to kill fleas on pets). Give the Dawn a shot, and keep an eye on your kids' heads for signs of lice still living, and check 'em for a week or so each day to watch for hatching eggs.if all else fails, drop the big-bucks on the lice-shampoo. You will also want to treat the areas where they sleep (pillows, etc).I would put the linens/pillows, etc in the dryer on high for a cycle, then put 'em all in a plastic trashbag for 24-48 hours, that should take care of your lice problem!
Yes, head out to a local pharmacy & their are shampoos available. They will take care of the problem in about a week as long as you follow directions.
kapoor mixed in coconut oil to be applied to child's hair and scalp night before sleep.a white cloth should be tied round the head to prevent lice crawling to the ears by morning all the lice would be dead in the cloth light shampoo wash is good
repeat it once a week
My daughter suffered terribly with lice from school. After years of trial and error the best solution we had was to completely cover her dry hair in cheap conditioner, which stuns the lice and weakens the glue used to hold the nits to the hair.
Comb out with a long toothed lice comb, making sure to remove all of the lice and nits and the ash the hair as normal.
Repeat as necessary. If you child attends kinda or child care the centre should also be notified.
This worked much better than any of the commercial chemical treatments.
There are commercial products in the pharmacy for lice. Also, you nee to wash in hot water the bedsheets to avoid reinfection
Full tonsure.
Use Permithrine lotion/cream. Available as Permite. You can rub on the scalp at bed time for two days. Next day give her a headbath, with plenty of water and soap.
Use Shikakai
