If you have other allergy symptoms such as a runny or blocked nose, itchy nose ,itching burning eyes etc. it may just be another symptom of the allergy you have. I get itchy ears but also have many other symptoms. Try antihistamines from the chemist if you haven't already. They help me a little.
ear wig?
because you ease drop too much!
I been getting an itchy chin lately, going mention it next time I see the dr

Probably ear canal eczema. The best you can do is keep them lubricated with a little olive oil once or twice a day but avoid sticking your fingers in them to scratch as you will cause a blockage and subsequent deafness until you can get them professionally cleaned out. Hope this helps.
It's hard to know what kind of itching you're describing. If it's the skin inside your ears, it might be caused by dry skin or ezcema. If this is the case, you will probably notice some flaking in this area. Try soaking a cotton bud in fragrance- and allergen-free moisturiser and applying it inside your ear, taking care not to go to far in and damage your ear drum.
If it's a different sort of itching - deep inside the ear/almost back of throat - it could be allergies to dust/hayfever(pollen)/fruit/fo... This can usually be sorted out by antihistamines and/or avoiding the allergen involved.
Hope you solve it soon - I know how frustrating it can be!
If you are talking about deep inner ear itching, it could be a candida infestation that has spread to your sinuses and ears.
If you were ever on heavy antibiotics for any lenth of time (or repeatedly), you may have candida.
Antibiotics screw up your intestines and kill off ALL bacteria in there, both harmful and beneficial.
Candida is a bad bacteria that grows back faster than the beneficial bacteria. It can then go to your sinuses and ears.
Do you crave breads and other starches?
Do you crave dairy? (especially cheese)
Are you gassy, bloated and irritable?
Do you feel depressed, tired or rundown a lot?
Have trouble concentrating?
Drink a lot of beer?
Look up candida online.
It is very common and a real pain to get rid of.
Start eating a lot of yogurt and drinking a lot of water.
Eat a spoonful of cocnut oil a day.
It coats your intestines and kills of the candida... but it could take months.
There is a product called Three-Lac.
Available online.
Even if you don't buy the product, look at their site for some really useful information about candida.
This happened to me in 1993 and it's taken right up until now to ease. Doctors don't know why. My ears in the beginning were horrendous (so itchy I could have killed). I've not been given anything by any doctors. It's just had to pass on it's own. My ears became so sore with all the scratching.
I believe the government is testing a warfare chemical on the public. It sound odd I know, but it wouldn't be the first time.
You could try that ear cleaner stuff and pray it works. don't put something in one ear and use it again in the other unless you disinfect it first.
I wish you all the best and I'll pray that it goes away quickly for you.
Ear mites! There are things living in your ears! [I've never had that but it could be that]
It is probably eceme(can't spell it) I have it, just put E45 into your ear, it will clear up really quickly.
could be eczema, go to another doctor and mention it, or go to a specialist at your local ear, nose and throat centre.
i have the same problem and i now think that it is most likely to be eczema, have had different drops but nothing seems to keep it away for long so now i just put up with it
This is likely to be low grade otitis externa, which is really mild eczema of the external auditory canal. You could try a small tube of 1% hydrocortisone. ( This is available over the counter). Put a spot on your little finger and wipe it into the ear perhaps once or twice a day. DO NOT use anything else, like a cotton bud, this may damage the ear.
