Another flu question...?


Question:
I've just got back from the Blue Mountains in Australia (live in Sydney) and it's proven a bad choice as now i have the flu!

My question is this: What are some remedial/natural/organic reccommendations that will help this flu pass?

(I already know about Manuka honey for coughing and garlic to boost the immune system)

Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Cranberries: Help prevent bacteria from sticking to cells lining the bladder and urinary tract. Mustard & Horseradish: Helps break up mucus in air passages. Onion: Has phytochemicals purported to help the body clear bronchitis and other infections. Rice: Curbs diarrhea. Tea: Black and green tea (not herbals) contain catechin, a phytochemical purported to have natural antibiotic and anti-diarrhea effects.


Herbal teas are probably the most successful remedy that helps me with my flu or cold. I drink green tea with ginseng and honey and my colds are usually not as intense...
