My bro's wife was diagnosed with chlamydia she is pregnant and her husband was tested and was negative. how?

Question:
After blaming the chlamydia on her.He was tested for everything under the sun and was negative. They have been married for 9 years. This is tearing then apart. The saddest thing is i believe them both

Answers:
This is actually quite common, and doesn't mean that either of them have been unfaithful.

If two people in a relationship have chlamydia and don't get it treated it will EVENTUALLY clear by itself, although it often takes years.

Generally speaking, it clears more quickly in men than in women, which means that after a few years the male can be negative while the woman is still positive.

If it were a recent infection then they would almost certainly both be positive.

The main problem with a woman having untreated chlamydia for years is that it can cause scarring on the fallopian tubes causing PID and infertility. Your sister in law has been lucky.
It sounds like someone is lying...sorry.
She cheated! plain as day...5 bucks says the baby aint his either...hate to put it bluntly, but, I know of no one having Chlamydia for 9 years without symptoms...she's busted!!
you can get chlamydia from just not cleaning up proper after sex...doesnt mean anyone is cheating
It would be wise to have DNA testing done on the baby.
This could be a long ago transmission, but I bet it was within the last two years. Could they both be lying about their sexual historys?
I had "herpes" but tested negative both personally and with a partner. (BTW, I and my hubbie were professed Virgins, AND I actually was truthful..

So, I don't have herpes.except for the icky sores..and I did have chickenpox, etc.

Sometimes things take a LONG time to come to the surface.

Othertimes...like your SIL...she is lying about something...sorry.
From emedicine Health:
"No symptoms in 70–80% of cases (One study found that 3% of a sample of young adults 18-35 years had untreated chlamydia.)

But the only reason I can think of that your brother might *not* have it is if he recently took antibiotics for some other reason like a sinus infection, bronchitis etc. Chlamydia is treated with very common antibiotics and he could have cleared his infection without knowing it.
This is an interesting question. In actual fact, a person can be infected with chlamydia and not show the symptoms at all. And yes, she could have been infected for 9 years and asymptomatic at the same time. Usually, left untreated she would have developed PID and not been able to have a baby so either she is very lucky or this is a recent infection.

Frankly your brother could have given it to her. He may have tested positive simply because he took some antibiotic regimin since his infection (could be years by the way!!) and that cleared it up for him while she remain oblivious to having been cross infected.

This is definitely a sexually transmitted disease. It could be either one who was infected BEFORE or AFTER marriage. There is no way to tell who is lying. It could be her. It could, frankly, be him. One of them knows the truth. I would suggest he get a DNA test of the baby just to be sure.
how did the daredevil get so kickass from going blind? what happened?
If she has chlamydia, and he doesn't then sounds like she cheated on him, and the baby probably isn't his either, or she caught something from someone elses toilet. Tell him not to sleep with her anymore, and let him know that when the baby is born don't sign the paternity papers or the birth certificate until a paternity test is done. Tell him to go to court and petition for a paternity test before the baby is born that way she won't just be able to put his information on anything before the test is done, and he is stuck paying the bill. Also have him check to see if she has any friends that might have the disease, that way that will also rule out where she got the disease from if she didn't sleep with anyone else.
have him go and get tested for chlamydia antibodies in his blood. he may have had it but his body has cleared it from the penis, but the antibodies will always be there. if he has no chlamydia antibodies in his blood, then she has some explaining to do.
Sounds like she is cheating...after the baby is born...get a DNA Test
