Am I at a risk for skin cancer?

Question:
I'm czech descent, in the summers i get tan real easily. I have only been noticably burnt maybe two times in my life, and they were so mild it didn't even bother me. Because of this, I NEVER wear sunscreen. Haven't for years.

Is that bad?

Answers:
Yes. Your skin color is irrelevant; although most melanoma patients have fair skin and blue eyes, even black people can get melanoma. Also, sometimes sun exposure doesn't matter. I was first diagnosed with melanoma at 21. I am pale, never been burned. I had no history of sun exposure. However, my brother also had melanoma so it had more to do with genetics than sun.
The way the ozone is now, yes you are at risk. If a person got one sunburn 20 years ago, they are at risk of getting cancer. You can't take chances any more
