Sexual Health?

Question:
I was recently infected with and STD, which i had treated immediatly and now i am fine. After reading up on this STD i seen that it could possible caude infertility. I was just wondering if there was a way to find out if there is any chance that having it could have caused me to be infertile?

Answers:
Chlamydia can do serious damage to a woman’s Fallopian tubes. If this happens, the woman could become infertile.
However, while it is true that chlamydia can cause infertility (because PID / pelfic inflamatory disease), this happens in only a small number of women who have it.

See your ob/gyn, s/he might perform some test (e.g: Hysterosalphingography) to find out wether you fertile or not.

or ask dr.
Usually, STDs that go untreated for a long perod of time can cause infertility. However, you mentioned that you got treated immediatelly, so the chances are very low to none. If it bother you then get tested for sperm count and activity at the urologist's office.
talk to your doctor
