Does bleach bleach skin? My kid had ringworm & I tried bleach. making sure her skin color doesn't change color

Bleach can and will burn skin. Too much on a raw piece of skin could even cause permanent scaring. Try this instead:
- Keep your skin clean and dry.
- Apply over-the-counter antifungal or drying powders, lotions, or creams. Those that contain miconazole, clotrimazole, or similar ingredients are often effective.
- Wash sheets and nightclothes every day while infected.
I don't know if it bleaches skin, but it can burn skin. The label says not to get it on skin.
Ringworm is a fungal infection. Talk to your doctor or the pharmacist about how to treat it. There are sprays and creams but you'll have to find the one that's appropriate for your child's age.
you have to scrape the top of the ringworm first then put the bleach on it and it will sting for a few seconds but it will kill the ringworm , probably wont have to do it more than 2 or 3 times but it will not bleach the skin , this is the cheapest and quickest ways to get rid of ringworm , you can get a prescription but they can take 2 weeks or better and doing this will get rid of it in a few days or less
I had ringworm once many years ago. Having ringworm is miserable. Bleach won't phase ringworm. Ringworm is a little beast. Here is a list of antifungal creams that will kill ringworm.

it does not bleach skin...it however can highly irritate it, so please DO NOT USE IT ON SKIN.
My ex-girlfriend use to suffer from ringworm, usually it is an allergy to an animal dander or hair from a cat or dog. Anyway a doctor told her to get any shampoo that contains at least 1% Selenium Sulfide and apply a drop or two around the infected area and let it dry naturally, then rinse it off. After a few applications it should go away. Usually the dandruff type shampoos contain this ingredient. A pharmacy will have one that contains 2% which works better, but Idont know if a prescription is required for this or not.
