if you are only 11 you should not be asking for that kind of information on this site. only talk to your parents and doctor.
YOU LOST ME AT "I HAVE"
Don't expect anything regular about your period until you're 13, maybe 14. It takes your body a while to get the hormones dancing to the same tune.

yes sweety, it's more than normal.at your age it wil
l be abnormal.be happy about missing a month, trust me soon you are going to hope and pray you miss it more than that! periods are painful! good luck,
it sounds normal as of now. You might be getting ur period right now? u may get it tomorrow. learn to look for the signs that come before your period so u dont have to worry. Keep a calendar so u know when you are due. U may get ur period randomly and not regular at all. My advice is to just keep track of it and if things arent improving or ur getting worried talk to your doctor. There are medicines out there to regulate you.
of course its normal. the pattern should change since you're just starting . That is the way i was when i was starting my period. So don't panic. but if its been like over a year and you are still irregular then you should see a doctor.
When you first start having periods, they may not be "regular" (every 28 to 30 days, about the same time each month, for an average number of days). You may skip one here or there, or "go long" (maybe 5-6 weeks between), or "spot" halfway through the month.

It's just your young body getting used to the changes it is going through, and it is different for every person. Keep a calendar of when you start, what each day of it was like (heavy, light, cramping), and how many days it lasted. Over the next year or so, you will get an idea of what is normal and regular for you.
If its continuous 3 months with moderate to heavy bleeding (like you soak at least 3 sanitary pads in 8 hours), then you need to go see an MD.

But if its on and off and very minimal aka spotting, nothing to worry about. You are just starting. Then if that ends, you might not have a period from a gap of few months to 24 months then you'll have it again. By then, it will be regular. Normal menstrual cycle lasts from 3-7 days between 28 days cycle.

Welcome to womanhood and all its monthly cramps!
It is very normal to have irregular periods at first. It would still be a good idea to tell your Mother or other trusted female friend who has already gone thru what you are going thru now.

Good Luck,
