Any ideas of what the rash on my back could be?

Question:
My boyfriend was rubbing my back last night and discovered that a had a rash covering my upper back, shoulders and neck. The bumps do not itch or hurt and they don't appear to have any color to them. They are barely visable but you can feel them all over. They are very small bumps. Any idea what they could be?

Answers:
It is most likely not a heat rash or an allergic reaction as you would have sypmtoms such as redness and itching. Sounds like something more cosmetic like clogged pores. I would not be worried, especially if you are not experiencing any symptoms. If they concern you, then see a dermatologist.
Is it a heat rash? Have you been suntanning your back?
