How soon can you go into the sun after having a mole removed?

Hi, My Husband had a mole on his lip removed just under a week ago, We are due to go on holiday to the maldives in 3 weeks, we are worried about the hot sun on his face, ANY advice would be realy appreciated.....Th... you.

It could just hurt it with the scar issue (if he exposed it to much sun) - be sure he uses an spf and try to stay under a hat - as silly as it could 'look' or find a nice shady area - I'd just be careful and keep it under a lip sun screen and regular 50 spf for the face - otherwise sounds fun.
Before he goes to bed apply some pure vitamin e - pack some along for the trip.

i dnt think the sun does affect it at all.. not sure tho... maybe you cud apply lotion around it and clean it regularly..

I'm sure he'll be OK as long as he wears a hat or cap with a large rim to keep the sun from his face.Also wear plenty of high factor sun cream.The best thing though would be to have a word with your GP.
