Did any of you have a mild herpes outbreak?

Question:
I think my first outbreak was just a tiny sore that hurt a little and dissapeared after 5 days. didnt burst or scab, still to get herpes confirmed this week. did this happen to anyone else?

Answers:
My first outbreak wasn't that mild but it wasn't that bad either. All my other ones have been the same as you described.
What are you talking about, maybe.
what kind, oral or genital? if it's oral it has to be outside your mouth.
The severity of the first outbreak of herpes 1 or 2 varies enormously by individual. It depends on the state of your immune system and your genes as to how you react. About 25% of the population has no visible symptoms, not even an itch or rash. About 25% of the population gets a rash and some itchiness, but no lesions. The remaining 50% get anything from a few small llesions like you are describing, to a major outbreak with large number of lesions that break, bleed, and crust over, leaving scars.

If it is confirmed to be herpes, you are among the lucky ones who got a small initial outbreak. This means that subsequent outbreaks will probably be unnoticable, with little or no symptoms whatsoever, such that you may think you never get one again. Remember however that you will always be contagious to others when shedding virus, even when you don't have symptoms, during an outbreak.
probably just a boil unless you had lots of little blisters
