How long does it take to get the results of a STD test back?
My boyfriend thinks he may have a UTI and is going to the doctor on Monday for testing, if it turns out it isn't a UTI and they do STD testing how long will we have to wait for the results?

It totally depends on the efficiency of the lab the the doctors office is using. Most tests...Chlamydia, Gonorrhea.etc...take approximately one week for the test to come back. This is because in most cases the lab needs to culture the sample to see what it exactly is. Also, the sample needs to get sent out to the lab, which may take a day or two as well.
If something does come back positive make sure he finishes the entire bottle of antibiotics. You as well need to get checked out and prescribed medication if there is something. Hopefully it is just a UTI!
