Green mucus and conjunctivitis?

Question:
My mucus is green. I just went to the eye doctor and he told me I had conjunctivitis. He gave me antibiotic eye drops and when I spit it was bright green? Is this normal or should I call him back.

Answers:
Give it a day or two. Your tear ducks are connected to your mouth thru the sinus, so if you have Pink eye, and the drops are moving the mucus around, then the drops could be getting into your mouth and affecting your spit. I would give it a day.
call him
ideally you should call him back. check the bottle of the antibiotics for side effects while you do.
