Yes people with STD's can still bear & birth babies..depending on what STD you have there are certain precautions that need to be made/followed to prevent your baby from being infected or possibly having some sort of defect as a result of your STD..such as a very good friend of mine has genital herpes & she has 2 kids, she just had to have them C-section, no big deal
Yes you can still get pregnant ifyou have std's, but it not treated or cured by the time to give birth can cause many complications to the baby. They will either get the std also, or they can become blind. Your obgyn may suggest a c-section so that the baby won't have to go through the birth canal where the infection lives.
Yes all they do is treat the std and monitor you during the pregnancy to make sure it was treated properly, if its not cleared up all the way by the time your in labor they deliver by c section
