Can you take a bath with the chicken pox if they still might be coming out?

Question:
?
Im real considered they might fill with alotr of water

Answers:
First, yes, you can take a bath. It shouldn't make the chickenpox worse or harm you in any way. Baking soda added to the bath water is said to help with the itching, and works as well as any other home remedy. A box added to a lukewarm bath (hot water is hard on your skin, especially with open sores) should make for a comfortable soak, and hopefully cut down on itchiness for a while.
Second, it is a bad idea to rub the blisters, either with a washcloth while bathing or with a towel as you dry off. Not only can breaking the blisters increase scarring, but irritating the skin (and causing open wounds) encourages bacterial infection in the sores. Patting your skin dry will work quite well, and will help to remove any water that you feel might collect in the sores. The water itself isn't dangerous to you at all, just make sure you start with a clean tub.
Hope this helps! Good luck, I know chickenpox is the pits!
soda bath.Gently rub with soft cloth.Helps bust blisters and leeds to healing.Several times a day.
Yes you can. In fact, taking an oat meal bath relieves some of the itching.
a cool bath is very soothing, can add dry oatmeal to help with itching too.
Of course you can take a bath!
In the old days it was a myth that u shouldn't take shower but i got checken pox last year the doctor told me that i can take shower as many times a day as i want.I got it in winter so i used to take shower with warm water.Just get some thing to use instead of soap and do'nt rub ur body with a scrub and it will be fine! I know how u must be feeling , feel sad for u. Don't worry the scars will go away.Good luck!get well soon!
yea u can just dont take a nething near hot! take a luke warm bath/shower if possible.
Dont know about that oatmeal thing! But "baking soda" (not powder) works good, about one cup stirredinto a half tub of water, soak for about 15 minutes.
