It all boils down to fluids and pink parts. There are four fluids that can transmit HIV, and four main parts of the body that the virus can enter through (aside from an open wound). We'll call those the Pink Parts.
Fluids:
Blood
Semen
Vaginal Fluid
Breast Milk
Pink Parts:
Inner Cheek
Rectum
Urethra
Vagina
So, if any of her fluids came into contact with any of your "Pink Parts," then you may be at risk.
Kudos on using protection, by the way. Condoms do a great job of reducing or eliminating fluid transmission.
Yes. however not probable. Go on line and search home HIV test. For about $50.00 they will send you a kit, one drop of blood applied to the test paper, mail it in and 24-48 hours after they get it, you can call for your results. There is a more sensitive test but it cost more. also, check your yellow pages for a clinic near you. walk-in test are more expensive than mail in test are. Good luck.
It is possible if the condom broke. So if u are the slightest bit worried about it... go get tested. I don't think it costs very much if anything at all. ( depending on where u go )
At least u will have a definite answer. So get it done as soon as possible so u can deal with the outcome. If it comes back negative, at least u can put your mind at ease and go on with your life.
i don't understand why people are saying if the condom broke, or if there's a tear, if anything happened to the condom then the asker would've said so, don't make anymore assumptions to put fake thoughts in the person's head, the question is asked as is, no if, and or buts.
your chances of catching HIV is virtually 0% condoms are virtually 100% effective in preventing HIV transmission, you're safe, even if the girl was HIV+ and you had unprotected sex, the chances of you getting the virus is still low, you have nothing to be uneasy about, i would suggest getting an HIV test just to ease your anxieties.

I worked in an OBGYN office for 6 years.
It's still possible, even if yo uhad protected sex. The best way for you to know is to get tested. Get a test now and then another one 6 months after the first, then you'll know for sure. Dont' go around and not know your status, it's the worst way to approach the situation.
Just a side note. The HIV virus is so small it can pass right through a condom. There is a reason there is no such thing as safe sex. With a condom the HPV can be transmitted as well. To be on the safe side I would have myself all checked out and then wait 6 months and have another blood test. Better to be safe than sorry.
