im not sure. what if you say that about someone who has a reddish undertone to their skin. is that still brown? brown skin tones can be on someone who is light, medium or dark skinned i think. i have an olive tone to my skin and its dark.
no...brown is the color of the skin! dark is the contrast of the skin as in dark brown skin or light brown skin. get it?
