Can you and your partner have sex if you both are being treated for chlamydia at the same time?

Question:
"can you and your partner have sex if you both are being treated for chlamydia at the same time? My little brother asked me and I don't know what to tell him, I have never had this problem. Can the people both pass it back and forth or is there a minimum time limit for them to get together?

Answers:
Until both have complete their course of antibiotics, NO. They will only be passing it back and forth.

They should also go for follow up tests after completion of meds, just be sure.
just the fact you have to ask the question says you should NOT be having sex with anyone ever again. EWW.
yea just pass it back & forth you idiots.
They probably got it from each other but as long as it is being treated in both of them, yes, sex is okay.
Typically if the patient is being treated with azithromycin "Zithromax" it is required that the patient abstain from any sexual activity for a week. If other treatments are being used that take longer, you must abstain for the entire course of the treatment.

Neither patient should have sexual intercourse of any kind during the treatment and up to one week after the treatment to be entirely safe. You don't want to risk reinfecting your partner.

Hope this helps.

Not a good idea.
They will continue to pass it back and forth. They need to finish up the meds. And MOST of all they need to have PROTECTED sex so, they don't get something that can't be killed with penicillin!
yes as long as you both use a condom and take te medication written by your doctors in my opon?
