Miagranes! Does anyone know a good cure?
Question:
Does anyone have a cure or a prevention method? She has tried alot of thing, so any help would be great!
Answers:
There are several things that could be happening here. The most likely is a hormonal imbalance.
If she is taking hormones, IE birth control, then she should stop. They can lead to stroke in patients that have migraine issues. If she is not on birth control, she should have some basic blood work done to see what kind of a chemical imbalance is causing the problem.
I would try a noni juice or another supplement similar to try and make sure that she doesn't just have a vitamin or mineral deficiency.
May your future mother in law and her doctor have wisdom finding a cure to her headaches.
My wife says Gatorade.
One thing I found that helps is to put ice on my neck. Also put pressure on your forehead just above your nose.
The best thing to do is take care of it just as you feel it coming on. The problem that alot of people do is wait till after they have the full blown migrane to take anything.
Has she tried prescription medication for the treatment of migraines? Turn off all the lights, lay down with pillows under your legs, ice packs on the head. Most importantly, TAKE the medication immediately when you feel it coming on. Otherwise, it might not work.

Migranes are a horrible thing to have if they don't quit make sure she gets to her doctor there could be other major reasons
after taking the medicine have her lie down in the dark and try to relax--it also may be from stress have her relax and meditate or sit by herself and read --or do something she enjoys--Good Luck with her~ Hope everything turns out well let me know how it goes
My best friend just told me to slice a potato about 1/4 inch thick put it in a damp wash cloth and leave it on your fore head for at least a half an hour, I'm getting ready to try it now. Somehow the starch pulls it out she says.
I had a severe migrane that actually caused temporary vision loss. When I went to the ER the doctor told me...CAFFEINE! He also prescribed a migrane medication but I don't like taking meds. The caffeine thing works for me. Down a few cups of coffee!
