The most recommended allergy medicine is Benadryl. It is what is given when you go to emergency.
claritin or alavert
there ae homepathic methods if you dont want to do otc meds, homeopathy takes a little of what you are allergic to and you ingest it in drops and develope an immunity to your allergens, if you would like to try the all natural approach and in these days and times many people are or if not benedryll makes a few dif kinds, non drowsy formulas, etc and chloratrymaton is a great brand, lasts up to 12 hours so you arent taking a pill every 4 to 6, good luck!
Depends on the allergy. For my allergic rhinitis (hayfever) I read somewhere that if you eat locally produced honey (10 mile radius) and drink tea from locally grown camomille it will desensitize you to the pollen and spores in the air. Works for me.
It would help if we knew what you were allergic to and what symptoms you have.
pseudoephedrine!
zyrtec
allegra
loratadine
benadryl
those should do it!
For sinus allergies, try a neti pot. It washes out your sinus cavity --- works great. We found ours at Walgreens, that's about the only place we were able to find one, apparently they are very popular.
Try and see what you think.
