Allergies or insect bites?

Question:
i hav this itchy bumps that tend to get bigger when scratched. I hav gotten 10-20 itchy bumps before. This usually happens at night or when the weather is hot. All these bumps appear on my arms, legs, back, chest, stomach area and sometimes neck. On certain nights, they are so itchy that i cant get to sleep..

Answers:
It sounds like hives. You may be reacting to the heat (which is not uncommon), pollens in the air, or a combination of both. Take a cool to lukewarm bath in Aveeno oatmeal bath. It will soothe the itch and moisturize your skin. Try some Calamine lotion; just dot it on the bumps with a cotton ball. The other thing you can try is Benadryl or a similar antihistamine.

If it's hives/allergies, the Benadryl will reduce the swelling and itching. But don't take any medications without consulting your doctor first.
It is impossible to say anything. Consult with a Local Doctor who will give you the needful advice.
It sounds like some type of allergy. You should go to a doctor to find out the cause so you can effectively treat it. For example, if it is a soap, lotion, etc causing the bumps, then changing brands would be helpful. If it is hayfever, then avoidance, medication, or shots may be the answer.
