Why do bug bites cause those little bumps?

Question:
Ok, we all know bug bites can itch like crazy, but why do they form those little bumps after a while?

Answers:
Scar tissue.
your body is trying to fight off the impurities that enter into your blood stream when you're bitten... whether it be the insect's saliva or the poison it injects into you.
because when they do bite you the inject some kind of chemical in you that will make you react or just plane itch.
Because the poison in the bug bite causes your skin to swell up at the immediate location of the bite. It's like an allergic reaction to the bug poison.
histamine thats all just use benadryl cream and the bump disapears
