Um, ew. This is gross but...?

Question:
My blister will go away?
Two days ago I went on a two-block walk around the neighborhood with my mom and dog.
I was wearing flip flops and for some reason got SEVERE blisters on the bottom of my toe (next to the big one haha). Mainly on my one foot.
It hurts so bad I have to walk on the side of my foot now. It took off like every layer of skin and it's open and red as can be a bleeding a little.
Ew, you didn't need to know that but anyways that's how bad it is.
Well my school starts on August 20th and I'm afraid it won't be healed by that time!!
I wear flip flops to school alot too, and anyways I'm really scared now.

How long do you think it'll take before it starts healing up & not hurting anymore?

Any tips on how to make it heal fast? Thank you!

Answers:
Antibacterial cream and band aid. I do a lot of long distance hiking. You will get blisters doing this. When ever I get them I put antibacterial (to prevent infection, due to the sensitive layer of skin that is exposed) and a band aid to cover it up so it stays on. I usually change it a few times a day, clean the area and re apply the cream and band aid. At night, or when you are not wearing shoes or sandals, keep the band aids off so that it gets air.
Neosporin makes some ointment with a mild painkiller in it. Slather thatt on it a few times a day, and wear white cotton socks and it should heal in about a week.
Make sure to keep it clean and keep a band-aid on it. It sounds pretty bad, so it won't heal up to quickly. Try not to pick at it or irritate it. Leave it alone, maybe a little neosporin, and you should be fine.
You know, I saw a webpage the other day that was talking about these flip-flops from Wal-mart that had been treated with some sort of chemical and not washed properly, and they were blistering people's feet exactly like you just described because of the chemical on the sandals.

Did you just buy the flip-flops? Here is the link to the story: http://consumerist.com/consumer/dangerou...
Put Neosporin on the blistered area of your foot morning and night. Stay of your feet to let them heal. If you do this it will heal by start of school.
well one reason that your blister hurts so much is that you are exposing saturated skin cells to air and other things. The best thing to do is to put some antibacterial cream on it and cover it with a band aid or some other kind of bandage. The main thing is keeping it clean and not letting it get infected.
Just clean it with peroxide everynight and put some antibacterial cream on it in the morning. It will take awhile to heal completely but by the time you start school it should be a lot better. Don't put a bandaid on it because it is important for the air to hit it and help heal it.
Put neosporn and a band aid it should only take a week to heel up, the band aids with cushion work best..
Put neosporin on a banaid and put that on when you are wearing your flip flops and let it breath when you are sleeping. It should he before you are back in school.Good Luck and I hope it feels better soon.
the pain should subside before u go 2 school, but u will still have some of the red mark left when u start school.
Put neosporin on it with a bandaid, wear socks and tennis shoes until it does heal, so it don't get re opened, or infected. Also soak it in water that will help too.
