How can i tell if im lactose intolerant?

Question:
my life is based around dairy,so its a necessity for me,what can i do if i am lactose intolerant?thanks!

Answers:
If your lactose intolerant, u'd know. You'd start burping out whenever u've had anything to do with milk. But if you've had milk products on an empty, then u'd have bad smelling gases and having difficulty in digestion. This is from personal experience. It may take time to say a constant no to dairy but on the flipside you'l have a slimmer waistline. You could substitute dairy with meat, egg, soya, fish etc,,,and ice-cream with sorbet

if you are lactose intolerant, you will know. seconds after eating dairy you will
a) have terrible back, stomach, and/or chest pain
b) have intolerable gas
c) break out into a rash
d) vomit
e) or have some other type of reaction that is painful, embarrasing, involuntary, and annoying
The easiest way to self-diagnose lactose intolerance is to chug down twelve to sixteen ounces of milk. If you find yourself running to the bathroom with diarrhea a short time later, you've got it!

I am lactose intolerant, but can drink four to eight ounces of milk a day with no problems.

Cheese no longer has lactose in it, so it doesn't cause problems for those who are intolerant. Eat all you want, but opt for lower-fat varieties whenever possible.

Although yogurt contains lactose, enzymes in it apparently break down the sugar. I can eat large quantities of yogurt with no intestinal distress. You should be able to eat it, too.

Just cut back on the milk, and you should be all right.
