I agree with Susan , it is probably a stye. The warm compresses will help, but you should see a Dr, he/she may suggest antibiotics.
The best piece 's of advise i can give i, wash your hands frequently ! DONT TOUCH YOUR AFFECTED EYE THEN RUB THE OTHER EYE, IT CAN AND WILL BE TRANSFERED! Also toss all your eye makeup and start fresh..mascara is notorious for causing a stye
consult an eye specialist at once. don't indulge in any self medication.
I would recommend you see an optometrist.
It might be benign and go away on it's own, but it also something that might need treatement or even surgery. It might cost you hundred bucks right now but if i ends up (being serious and) saving you sight it will be well worth it.
Do you mean a stye? Warm compresses for 15 min. 2 to 3 times a day. That should do it after about a week.
