The pattern of my heart beat just changed suddenly, and it's freaking me out?

Question:
A few hour ago, my heart beat was normal. Then I got a shot of adrenilian (I can't spell), and my heart switched to a different pattern. It's now beating a little faster. I seem to have 2 weak beats, followed by a strong beat. I've started to really freak out about this, and it seems to be making this problem even worse. I'm only 19, and I'm all by myself in a hotel room right now in Leipzig, Germany, and I don't know what to do. This is my first time traveling alone, so naturally I've been stressing out/nervous a lot. Could this be causing my problem? I'm hoping it will all just go away when I calm down but I don't know...

Answers:
I am unsure as to why you had a shot of adrenaline (maybe because you have asthma or had a severe allergic reaction to something, or you may mean that due to your stress you have released more adrenaline in the body), but anyway, adrenaline initiates many bodily responses, including the stimulation of heart action and an increase in blood pressure, metabolic rate, and blood glucose concentration. Adrenalin is a hormone secreted by the adrenal medulla that is released into the bloodstream in response to physical or mental stress, as from fear or injury.

First try to calm down, lie down and relax. I know that is hard, I have heart palpitations from time to time also and they can be very scary. Do not drink anything caffeinated which could cause your heart to beat abnormally also. If it does not go away, I would suggest going to the emergency room. But try calming down and relaxing. Yes, you may also be having panic attacks also because you are stressing and nervous. But the shot of adrenalin may have caused this problem.

Why did you have a shot of adrenaline? The shot would cause what you are describing then you began to panic. So sit down and try and relax and it will pass. If after a couple of hours it does not then visit a hospital or see if the hotel has a house doctor.
What do you mean you had a shot of adrenalin? That's what adrenalin does, it speeds up your heart rate. This is a normal reaction. It's go away in a little while. However, if you panic, it won't. You can have panic attacks, but if you took that then I would lean towards that being the cause.
Don't eat too much animal fat, like cheese, eggs, bacon and hamburger.
