How long does it take for 40 mg of celexa to work? I have been on 20 for one and 40 for three weeks??

Usually about 4 -6 weeks fully. I've taken the same and in about 3 - 4 weeks I could feel the difference.
celexa is actually one of the quickest working anti depressants. If it isn't doing anything for you in 4 weeks, maybe you should see you doctor about going onto a different drug. you should have started feeling the difference within days of starting it... good luck...
