Answers:
Hi, I hope you are in good health. There are multiple factors on why you have a reading so high of your blood pressure. One, you are getting nervous right before you take it, and that increases your heart rate and BP (blood pressure). Another reason why you have a high rate, is that your cuff size is way too small for you. You have to use an appropriate cuff size on your arm to get accurate results. Being overweight doesn't necessarily mean you will have high BP. You have to go to a doctor, and on two separate measurements, if your BP is high, then you are considered to be hypertensive (aka High BP). The fact of the matter is you have to relax, before you see the doctor, or else you will have what's called "white coat syndrome". Your BP will be high due to anxiety.
Exercise and change in diet modification sometimes won't help in reducing in blood pressure if there are other factors that are causing it to be elevated. It could be hereditary (meaning your family) or other problems in the body. You are young, but that doesn't disqualify you as a candidate for having abnormal BP. The best thing you should do is go a see a doctor and see what he says.
Wrist cuffs are only accurate if you hold your hand above your heart when you use them. Yes your BP is too high but you need to buy a blood pressure device that fits you and check it daily at the same time every day for 2 weeks and then report this to your doc IF it is high most of the time. The doc will then take it from there.
You need to see a doctor to get it regulated and possibley get some medication to bring it down. But, the best way is to increase your fluid intake, decrease your salt intake and decrease your stress level.

Exercising every day, even just a 20 minute walk will help alot also.

You might try getting a better b/p cuff that will fit you better. If the cuff is the wrong size, your readings will not be accurate.

good luck
