What can i do to help get rid of insomnia?


Question:
I'm having trouble sleeping, and can't seem to be able to fall asleep until around...5 in the morning. This worries me, because school starts in a couple of weeks, and i dont want to be all nocturnal.

So, i need help, without drugs, or pills.

Insomnia is often caused by fear, stress, anxiety, medications, herbs, caffeine, depression or sometimes for no apparent reason. Make sure your bedroom is quiet and dark. Take a hot or warm bath; soak 30 minutes in the tub. Then go to bed. Expect to take between 15 and 20 minutes to fall to sleep. Anything less is considered an indication of sleep deprivation.
There are a number of things that sometimes help. The most obvious one is elimination of caffeine, or at least elimination of caffeine after lunch. Exercise also helps some people - either aerobic or strength-building, as long as it is not done with less than 3 hours before bedtime. Light conditions and noise are important - eliminate both of these if possible. Also, avoid doing things that require a lot of concentration, thought, or intensity -- such as certain video games before bed.

a book until you fall asleep.
