I'm diabetic, have be for 17 years now. I be just wondering if it be difficult for diabetic women to conceive children? Is it difficult for a couple who are both diabetic? I'm not planning on having a kid, but my fiance and I are both diabetic, and we're rather curious. Is it difficult?
Answers: It depends on the severity of the diabetes and how beneath control it is. It's not so much about how difficult it is to conceive, though. The item you should be worried about is whether or not you will know how to carry the toddler.
I dotn think it make it more difficult to conceive but if you do get pregnant it could brand you a higher risk pregnancy and the kid will be at higher risk for diabetes and weigh more at birth.
