Any Ideas People?

Question:

I get a sore throat at night around 10pm and wake up with it, it goes during the day and feels ok and starts again at night. I just recently had a blocked nose and a fever which quickly went after a day or two. My neck glands are swollen, but they always are anyway. Any idea what this might be? I suffer from hayfever, but why would my throat only be sore at night and morning?

Im not to sure, but i would suggest going to your doctor since your glands are pretty swollen. You possibly need a prescription.

When to Seek Medical Care

If the overlying skin is red and inflamed and you suspect an infection

Maybe its your tonsils? They could be enlarged

Hmm...yeah i would suggest going to your doctor. It could also be your bed+somthing in your room. so i would get that checked out.

Could be a couple things,are you mouth breathing at night. That in itself can cause a sore throat or maybe post nasal drip?

It sounds like you have a sinus problem. It comes during the night because of your sinus dripping onto your throat. I have had bad coughs for 3 months and I was diagnosed with sinus problem. I was prescribed Flonaise nose drip and it went away. I am sure, you can get that over the counter. Otherwise, it was almost $40. in BC.
