Little girl has HIVES 24h! Help any other ideas? Thanks!?

Question:
No idea of the cause(cottenseed oil possible?) All over her. given Bynadral/cornstarch bath/calomine lotion. I can't really get to a doc. Hopping to wait if I need to go to the Hospital. Never happend before execpt with Trimoxal (atibiotic)

Answers:
If the benadryl hasn't helped then you should definately get her to a doc. She may need to be put on steroids or a cortizone shot. If you don't want to take her to the doc please keep a close eye on her! If the reaction gets worse then her throat could swell.
Don't put anything on hives. Just benadryl by mouth.
If you're sure they're hives. You have to just treat the body histamine reaction to stop them, or take away the allergen but you don't know what's causing them.
sounds like she needs to stop having sex/or beening a whore
your best bet is too bathe in sea salt and put some calomine lotion on while calling a doctor. ; ) and fast you could have something serious
oatmeal bath, but yes if they are covering her, keep an eye on her...has she had another antibiotic recently (ceclor or derivative of it)?
She is having an allergic reaction to the meds. The best thing you can do for her is get her some Benadryl and make her drink a load of water. She will not be able to get rid of the hives until the meds is out of her system. That should do it, thats what we tell moms in the ER..Good luck
