How would you feel if you found out someone you've been sleeping with has herpes?

This person didn't have a known outbreak at the time of the activity.
I know someone who is doing this and not telling her partners. I'm torn as to how to help this situation. Her feeling is that "they didn't ask, so I didn't tell". I think even if they asked, she would lie to get sex. Any advice with this situation would be helpful.

That is horrible that she is not telling her sexual partner(s) that she has herpes. It is up to them to decide if they want to protect themselves and continue the relationship or leave the relationship. If it is transmitted and they found out she could be in a mess of trouble. There are now laws in place in many states that mean jail time and fines for people who knowingly transmit a disease to others without their knowledge, she could be looking and getting sued by the induvidual(s) she inflicted with herpes.
I would warn her of the consequences of her actions. If she still does not agree to tell them I would contact your local division of Sexual Transmitted Diseases Clinic through your State Health Department. Many will take the steps to contact the individuals anonymously to let them know they could have been infected with a STD.
Or you could do the brave thing and decide what is more important, saving someones life and genitals from herpes, or letting your friend have a good sex life on her own terms.
I would tell the sexual partner myself or go to the Health Department.
I'd be damn mad, and inclined to report her to the police.
That is about as juvenile a behavior as it gets.

Guys should know to use protection regardless of what a girl tells them, but they are all too eager to ride bareback
