Will Finacea work for all acne or just redness?

I don't have typical acne, like the redness and major bumps. I have a bad problem with trapped oils and "whiteheads". my mom said that the dermotologist gave her a Rx for Finacea. She said it would help my face clear up. It says its for rosecea and acne, but my problem isn't redness. Will this help clear my face?

Any cold suggestions?

Finacea is made for rosacea and rosacea acne, not for whiteheads and oily skin....Pro-Activ is ok if you don't mind spending money...You can get the same products over the counter....Try out some retnoid products at bed time...that helps with white and black heads...(it takes a while) ....wash face with some benzoperoxide wash or salicylic acid (nutrogena) that will help with exfoliation....keep away from mom's finacea....you will be wasting your time and energy with it.....
