Just pulling your hair up after you shower doesn't always help. Your shampoo and conditioner can soak into your skin while you are showering. I usually make sure to squeeze all the water out right after I wash and shampoo and then put it up while I finish the rest of my shower. That way your hair isn't touching your back while you wash it and you can get your shoulders better. Also look at what you are using to wash and condition you hair. Something in it could be causeing you skin to react and get irritated. There is a really good shampoo out that has tea tree oil in it that is really good for you hair and skin. It smells really good to. Another thing to look at is what you wash you body with. If it is a heavy cream or oil based wash then it could also be the problem. Anywhere you break out needs to be treated just like you would treat your face. Avoid harsh and oily cleansers and moisturize!! Just because you thing you have oily skin doesn't mean you should use something that is going to strip out the good and bad moisture. You need to replace some of what you just washed away. Try mild shampoo, conditioner, and body wash along with a mild lotion and it should help considerably. Stick to something for a while and do it every time you shower!! If you change it to often or don't do it every time it could make it worse.
One more thing you might want to look at is if you are drinking enough water. Water helps flush out you body's impurities and if you don't drink enough then the impurities stay in you pores. Also look at what you are eating. Try to maintain a healthy and balanced diet and not a lot of junk or sweets. After they digest they add to the impurities in your body!!
Good luck!!
hey! i have it too sadly, and the way to get rid of it is after you shower, put your hair up till you put your clothes on. the oils from your conditioner cause acne. and you could put some body wash for acne (at drug stores) for like 10 bucks!!
ugh! yes I do! I use neutrogena face and body wash on my face, neck, shoulders, and back. It helps alot!
Not eating chocolate is supposed to help too, but that is out of the question. :)
First thing to do is to avoid wearing unbreathable clothing.
Secondly, because most of back acne is also caused by hormones, I suggest you also fight your back acne from inside, by taking herbal pills.
