Back acne... : /?

Question:
My bf has body hair on his lower back, and he tends to get rather bad acne there. I assume the hair makes it easier for the acne.

Is there a special product he can use? Or perhaps just a method in which he can clear it up. Hes tried Neutrogena for over a month with pretty much no improvement.

I dont know what else to recommend. Any tips?

Answers:
Get a tube of Persagel 10 and apply nightly after his shower. It WILL clear them up. You can get it at Wal-Mart where they sell the Nutrogena, Clearasil and similar products. Prior to applying it might also be a good idea to cleanse the area with an oxy pad.
Theres this product I use although I'm not sure he'll be up for it...Lol. Its a mud mask that I got at Sprouts. Its a clay and ginsing mask by rachel perry. Its in a small box thats purple. That stuff got rid of my acne along with sunburn, oily skin, dry skin, and lots of other things so my friends say. He might have to shave first. Use it about twice a week. And just follow the directions on the box. Neutrogena NEVER worked for me so maybe this will. Hopefully it'll clear up!
I had terrible acne for years and found the cure! I wish I had found it 15 years ago when I started getting acne. Tell him to go to a vitamin store like gnc, vitamin shoppe, etc and get an extended release 1000 mg pantothenic acid supplement. I take it once a day with a meal. If I start to get acne I take it 2 or 3 times a day...but once generally works. It is fairly cheap (much cheaper than other "acne" meds, like $15 bottle and lasts at least a month) It heals existing acne and prevents new acne. Pantothenic acid is a form of vitamin B5, there are no side effects (unless he takes a ton of it, it causes a little stomach upset..I only experienced this at 10 pills/day lol...i thought I had to take a lot at first but i was taking too much), and it is water soluble so whatever your body doesn't use gets flushed out in your urine. I hope you try this. It has been a miracle for me!
Lever 2000 is an anti-bacterial soap that my husband's dermatologist told him to use to help with adult acne, and then he gave him a cream. If you bf cannot get a prescription for an acne cream, then have him get in the habit of using an over the counter acne cream - Acne Free, Proactiv, or anything with a high dose of benzoide peroxide - as soon as he gets out of the shower. If he does this daily, it might not clear him up 100%, but it should help a lot.
I swear by proactiv and i know how dumb that sounds. I had a derm. who prescribed everything under the sun but it never worked as well as proactiv did. If you decide to try it, give it at least a couple weeks. It takes a while to start working.
Treating back acne is DIFFERENT from facial acne, because the causes are usually different also.

I suggest you learn more about what options you have. Just visit: http://www.squidoo.com/naturaltreatments...

As for recommendation, there's a source that reviews some of the best acne treatments and they came up with the best 3 in 2007. I suggest you see it also, before making any decision...

Hi,

I would recommend clearpores, I got extremely positive results within weeks of using it.

I'm not saying I love it only because it worked for me. I do because it has worked for each and every person I've recommended it with excellent results. It tackles the acne problem from so many different angles that I bet it works for anybody. I'm even keen to think I'm not the only fan out there.

I've wasted a lot of time trying other products, and if I do the math I'm almost sure I've already spent thousands and none of them worked 100%. Taking this into account, the price for the ClearPores System seemed a bargain to me. And after evaluating its merits, I can say it's the best acne treatment out there.
