Worry about AIDS?

Question:
I have sex with sex worker (using condom) last week and now I have diarhea. I started worry about getting HIV. but it's too early to do the test. what's the possibility?

Answers:
I can't say what your chances of catching the virus are, but because you used a condom your chances are definately reduced. You have to come in contact with someones blood, semen, vaginal fluids or breastmilk in order to contract the virus. Did you come in contact with any of these during your sexual encounter? If condoms are used PROPERLY they can greatly reduce your chances of catching the HIV virus. Symptoms of HIV do not show up that soon, in fact it can take as long as 7-10 years for SYMPTOMS TO SHOW UP! Do not wait for symptoms to show up to take the HIV test and find out your status. As far as testing, that can tell you your status much sooner... It takes at least 30 days (in rare cases 3 months and in even rarer cases 6 months) for the HIV virus to show up on the test. I would say test after that 30 days and again after the 6 month mark to ensure 100% accuracy. Remember, any unprotected sexual activity during that time start the timeline over if you are looking for 100% accuracy.

I DONT THINK ITS TO EARLY TO EVER HAVE THE TEST
HIV symptoms dont come on that fast.
you used a condom so your chances are slimmer...does this person have HIV that you know of...if so you should be tested regardless. Diarrhea may be from being nervous about this.
I think you feel guilty and afraid, that is a good reason for diarrhea.

Anyways do not panic and get tested in a few weeks.
