Hey does any one know if the 7th grade shot hurts?

It's really not all that painful. A pinch from your brother would be worse.
Just don't look, and it will be over in a few seconds.
you should be getting three shots . menactra.hep A and Tdap. The needle is small and they just pinch a little.
I dont know i did not have to take a shot when i went into 7th grade but i bet it hurts just about as bad as all the other ones. my advice is toughen up and be strong. Think of positives once you take this one you wont have to take another one for at least a year.

No they don't. I have had a million shots, and no matter the size of the needle they will all have the same amount of pain but, it does depend on how sensitive you are on certain parts of your body. If its in arm, it will a hurt a little bit afterwards, for like 20 minutes but its not like you are going to die or anything. Your arm might tense up a little bit, but when they give you the shot just squeeze your hand into a fist and if it hurts squeeze your arm harder just to relieve some pain with your strength, It takes like 3 seconds and it will all be over with. Also don't look at the needle and don't go into the doctors office freaking out about getting shots, trick yourself into thinking its not a big deal and that you really don't care and shots don't hurt you. Personally, i always go into the doctors not making a big deal out of it (because I am not afraid of needles and shots but i don't like them) but i just relax and everything is fine after. Eventually it will be over, it won't last forever. Trust me, shots don't hurt that much, i had to have my blood taken a few times and they could never find my veins so they stuck me with the needle a hundred times and it hurt but not that bad, but it was definitley less comfortable than a shot. Just relax, don't freak out, everything will be okay. No biggie.

The important thing is to relax. Take deep breath and try to make your arm heavy and relaxed. If you are tense it is more likely to hurt. Good luck.
