Do nasal sprays damage the voice?

Question:

Answers:
Disregard the answer above...nasal sprays CAN damage the voice if they have a high dosage of steroids in them. I am a singer and when I get sick my doctor always makes sure all of my medications have a low dosage of steroids even the nose spray because it can inflame the larynx.
No not the voice...My mom uses nasal spray on a daily basis.
You have conflicting answers on here and I don't really know for sure. What I do know is that the inflammation from colds, coughing, allergies and other types of illnesses CAN damage your voice. So it may be a toss up - perhaps nasal sprays are not the best for ones voice, however it may be a better option that continuing on with coughing, sneezing, being very congested, etc.
