What is the best thing to use on poison ivy rash?

I used to go to the Dr and geta hydrocortizone shot. Also, soaking in a pool where there is chlorine will help dry the rash up . Some lotions are helpful with the itch but you will have to let the rash run its course !
i just burn the rash with a lit cig (I keep a box of them rolled up in the sleeve of my white t-shirt)
