Steroids, whats it does? Side affect?

Question:
Im getting put on it.
what does it do to your body?
im getting put on it for addisons disease.

Answers:
The term steroid refers to a chemical structure. Prednisone and hydrocortisone cream are steroids. The type of steroid that builds muscle mass and is outlawed in sports are anabolic steroids. You are probably being put on some kind of prednisone for Addisons. Not the same as the muscle building one. Much safer and widely used. I am a pharmacist.
It can be very dangerous for your health even life, unless advised by a qualified doctor.
"whats it does?"
..."getting put on it."
What is the deal with your awful writing??!!!
You might be able to get a better answer if you listed the steroid or steroids you are getting prescribed. Not all steroids are the same or dangerous.
