Are dust mites averywhere?

Question:
I just stumbled across this website on dust mites (http://www.imagination-inc.com/dustmites...
and was wondering if they are everywhere and can they harm you? thanks!

Answers:
They are everywhere, yes. They are only harmful if you are allergic or sensitive to them. You can lower the amount of dust mite related residues, and the populations of dust mites in your home by very scruplous housecleaning- but you can't eliminate them altogether. Believe it or not, they perform a very helpful service by eating the dead skin cells you slough off and other microscopic organisms. As long as you aren't having allergy problems because of them though, they are really nothing to be worried about. Dust mites are just one of those realities of life, like the bacteria that live on your skin and inside you- better off if you just don't know about them, or think about them much.
Yes.!
yes they are everywhere we are..
Yes, they are everywhere unfortunately. They can't harm you exactly, but their waste is what creates dust. So if you're allergic to dust, then you are indirectly being harmed by dust mites. Other than that though, they're just a nuisance and a part of everyday life. They don't bite.
Where there's dust there's dust mites and there's *some* dust everywhere - I doubt if they are really harmful ... now where's my feather duster got to?
Pretty much they are everywhere and yes they can harm you if your allergic to dust. To prevent them from spreading you can clean your room make sure that you have an air filter on your heater port. Also make sure that you close your windows and that both pillows and the bed are covered with the anti mite sheets. Lastly make sure to purchase a hepa air filter which will filter the air in the room that does include dust, mites, pet dander, etc.
They are probably in ever house in Britain, including Buck House. The weather conditions in this country are ideal for them to thrive. They have an adverse effect on those with asthma, allergic rhinitis and excema, acting as allergic triggers for these conditions, but are pretty harmless to the rest of us.

YES. dust mites are found even on the bed. It is just because, they are too small, that we do not notice them
Yes. But usually they don't do much harm unless you're allergic or have allergies.
