How many asprin are you supposed to give a person having a heart attack?

Question:
Bayer says in its commercials that it can save a person's life who is having a heart attack. So if my husband is having a heart attack, and I'm waiting for the ambulance to arrive, how many asprins should I give him? Thank you.

Answers:
The dose of aspirin given in a suspected MI is 160 - 325 mg. No more than that and remember to tell the paramedics that also... This is followed in the MI protocol by paramedics and physicians.
1 at first, 2 if its needed, but no more
You should give him at least 2. Or you could go acording to his weight.
Sorry, I have a question about your question...Do you mean baby aspirin or adult strength aspirin?
One adult aspirin is more than enough. DON'T GIVE MORE.
You need to call a nurse and ask them or a doctor!
i think baby asprin better than adult for heart attack.
ofcourse theres already an asprin just made for heart so use them !! better ask in pharmacy for them!!
