I have a little riased hair follicle on my leg, nothing terrible, but it just hurts really bad, causing pain up and down my leg? Is this normal for ingrown hairs to hurt that bad?

I don't know about ingrown hairs, but I once had an ingrown toenail and it was EXTREMELY painful.
no touching them makes it hurt but if they just hurt in general then somethings wrong
im not sure how to make the pain go away but try using hair removal cream or wax strips instead of shaving it may just hurt even more . You can also get the hair removed using laser treatment.
Are you sure it is an ingrown hair. Perhaps the pain is unrelated to the ingrown hair. Some ingrown hairs can be quite uncomfortable however.
