try hydrocortizone cream or aloe vera gel. they both work on my skin and i have very sensitive skin.
you should watch using things like that, because medicines can be absorbed through the skin and enter the body systemicaly.
this can cross over to the fetus
I've just heard of vicks for clearing up toenail fungus
Vicks vapour rub isn't a skin remedy, it's for clearing the sinuses
Honey you are breaking out because of your hormoans. Happened to me to and I was so self concious about it I talked with my OB and he told me its normal for it to happen to many women. Only thing he suggested was washing my face more often if it made me feel better. But what I did was wash my face with Noxemia and apply acne cream and it did nothing more then dry out my face so bad it hurt.
Hormones play a big part witht he breakouts during pregnancy- I know this for a fact I am 7 months along. This pregnancy is differnet for me than my first. I am using a mineral make up that is great for the skin. I use a mild cleanser at night and apply bare minerals night renewal powder. I saw a change in my skin in 2 days. I really love the mineral make up because it actually is a natural acne fighter and it covers up breakouts. Also I drink tons of water. It helps flush all the toxins out. As for the vapor rub- It will irritate your delicate face and could even burn if it gets in your eyes. Keep it for the chest and the toe nail fungus.
it does work
but burns abit
but be careful
No, Vick's won't clear your skin. Most "home remedies" for acne are totally useless and downright harmful to the skin. Go to the skin care aisle of your local Walgreen's or WalMart and look for a good skin care kit with cleanser, toner and treatment cream. If you don't want to do that, try washing with original formula Cuticura soap and using Witch Hazel as an astringent.
No balms like Vicks are mentholated balms and dont have any skin clearing properties. Menthol has the property to give cooling or burning effect on the skin, the skin will be more drier once the effect wears off. Try aloe vera instead. It is a non allergic natural healer for the skin. Apply the gel like insides of the aloe leaf directly on your skin and wait for an hour before washing off with plain water. You will have a very healthy skin without any kind of allergy or side effects nor it will have any adverse effect on the foetus.
Go See your Doctor, PLEASE!.Especially in your condition.
Something in the Vick's may help your skin clear-up,but there also maybe something in there that can hurt you and/or the baby!
Hope you and your baby will be healthy and happy!
for some it works for others it makes it worse id be carefull!!
