My vagina is really itchy- not on the inside though?

like around the outside. im kind of scared. ive never had actual sexual intercourse- im too worried about STDs, but i've given and received oral numerous times. could it be something serious? is it normal 2 get really itchy down there after being fingered or eaten out? my last time was the end of june- why is it showing up so much later?

It could be a yeast infection. They are common in women and don't necessarily have anything to do with having sex. You can get a yeast infection from improper wiping. They also can be gotten from unlcean hands or yes from oral sex. Getting lots of yeast infections can be a warning sign of diabetes. Its nothing to be embarrassed about. There are over the counter meds available for yeast infections. They work very well.

go to the doctor and have the infection checked out so he can give you the meds to clear it up !

Could be a vaginal infection of some sort, perhaps a yeast infection. Are you having any discharge, or foul odors? Call your doctor and see what they think. They may want you to come in for a quick exam, and maybe a urine sample. Hope this helps. :-)
