Callus problem! how to get rid of it.?

I get lot's of calluses on my hands from work. I use really rough sandpaper (40 or 60 grit) and just sand them off.
A sheet of sandpaper only costs about a buck and it works great and lasts forever.
It does freak my girlfriend out, but I bet this is basically what a manicurist or pedicurist would do - only with some real fancy / expensive device.
Before a doc, try a pedicure. They will get your calluses under control then you can maintain them.
A callus is the body's way of protecting itself. You are proably wearing either pointed shoes or shoes that are a little too tight for you or both, causing an irritation. You must wear less restricting shoes and rub a lubricant(lotion, vaseline) on it. and use a soft pumice stone on it after bathing-DO NOT use a razor blade.
