they dont usually last that long hun...try using a hot compress on your eye...just run hot water over a wash cloth and ring it out...hold it on your eye do this several times a day it should unclog the pore with in a few days
i dont think that is normal i just had one recently and it was only there for 2 days. you should go to a doctor
yes, it will go away eventually. i had one for about half a year.
I've had small stys, and I've broken them with my nail (just scratched them off) and then put in some Polysporin eye drops to prevent infection. That works.
Otherwise, go see your eye doctor. He'll do the same, but with tools, and he/she will suggest Polysporin eye drops.
Sometimes a sty will come up from a wild hair/eyelash. Try to remove the wild hair with some tweezers. If it doesn't go away a couple of days after that; you may need to go to the doctor. Good Luck.

It is most likely not a sty, but a chalazion (I hope I spelled that right.) Because usually when I get a stye, it's gone in like a day. But about a year and a half ago when I was in my sophmore year of high school, I started noticing a big red bump on my left eye. It never went away and got kind of bigger. I tried everything to make it go down but nothing really worked. I was so embaressed by it. I tried putting this ointment on it and it went down considerably. An eye specialist told me it was a chalazion and it would gradually disappear. About less than a year later, you couldn't even tell it was there. So look up chalazion and see if it matches what you have. But even if it isn't it will go away on it's own.
