Try massaging Cortisone 10 into your hands as often as possible, especially at night. This will work on knees and elbows too. It's available at Walgreens and grocery stores.
I am sorry about your problem hands. It could be due to allergies. You should see a doctor for topical creams. If that is not possible then use the strongest cortisone available OTC and in-between try applying A & D ointment. It can be smelly but I found that it worked very well on my daughters eczema. Good luck to you.
Try anti-eczema cream from champori.com. It's natural and works well without side-effects. (Cortizone might help, too, but it's basically steroids and should not be overused)
Best,
Bernadette.
I have really bad eczema, and have had it my whole life, 22 years. I just found a cream that works really really good! It's called Little Docs Cooling Spray Lotion. I believe you can also buy it online. Trust me it works really really well better than any creams I have tried. I can buy it at my local Target store.
Try treating it with natural or herbal remedies, they don't irritate the skin much and help the skin become smoother as well. http://www.skinoriginal.com/eczema/3-ato... has some great tips. Hope it helps you!
