If you would like to apply home remedies to reduce dark circles, here are some of my suggestions:
Buy a box of regular, old fashioned unflavored gelatin (e.g. Knox) from grocery store. Take a small cup or bowl and put in 1 teaspoon of the gelatin mix. Add one tablespoon of boiling water & stir for a minute. Test it on your wrist to make sure it is not too hot. Then, using a cotton ball, pat it under your eyes as you would an eye cream or gel. Go lie down and listen to some music, or take a bath & let it stay on for at least 30 minutes. Then just rinse it off.Gelatin is very high in Vitamin K & Biotin. It will not remove your dark circles on the first application (but you will notice a difference), but if you do it daily for a week, and then 2-3 times a week for maintenance, you should notice a drastic reduction in dark circles.

Yves Saint Laurent Touche Eclat will hide even the darkest circles but it is a bit pricey at £21 but I highly recommend it.
Try and get at least 8 hours sleep a night. It`s an old but true adage, 1 hours sleep before midnight is more beneficial than 2 after midnight.
Well many ways actually,
cucumber isn't put on your eyes to make you look pretty the natural juices from it lightens dark circles and reduces the puffiness, use a moisturiser with vitamin k it helps conceal the darkness and helps lighten it. Also drink alot of orange juice or anything else with vitamin C. As for diet, try to cut down on caffeine and alcohol, both of these cause skin to deteriorate, get sleep, exercise, drink plenty of water and eat a balanced diet and at night apply a thick layer of lotion and leave it overnight under your eyes.
drink less and sleep more
cut slices (2) of raw (and cold) potatoe and place them over your eyelids for 10-15 minutes, twice a day.do this until the dark circles lighten.
I have 'em, but they are getting better.

1. Get checked for allergies, which cause circles.
2. Don't rub around your eyes (bruises).
3. Use sunscreen.
4. THere are lasers for skin that target red and brown, and can greatly diminish that bruised look around the eyes.

The lasers are the main way, sorry to say. I have had my own circles since I hit about age 12, and I did everything I was told (vitamins, creams, get enough sleep, stop drinking milk). The laser is the only thing that really made a big difference, and I follow up with sun screen every morning to keep it from coming back.

It's expensive, be fore warned.

Try to find a dermatologist or plastic surgeon who has a laser that can target both red and brown at the same time, if you need both colors done, instead of 2 different laser treatments.
depends if they're caused by genes, lack of sleep, allergies, etc. if it's allergies, take some drugs. (zyrtec, etc.) if it's genetic, it may come to surgery.
